Shane Barnum, CPA, is an Assurance Manager at Empire CPA specializing in audit and assurance. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of the Fraser Valley in 2014, graduating with a major in accounting and a minor in economics, before receiving his CPA designation in 2017.

Throughout his career, Shane has worked with organizations of varying sizes across a diverse range of industries. In addition to his assurance work, he provides consulting support to business owners navigating succession planning, ownership transitions and other important stages of growth and change.

Shane is committed to delivering attentive, dependable client service and building trusted relationships that extend well beyond a single engagement. He takes the time to understand each client’s business, priorities and long-term goals so he can provide thoughtful, practical guidance at every stage.

Outside the office, Shane is actively involved in Mission’s sports community as a lacrosse coach and member of the Mission Minor Lacrosse Board of Directors. He also enjoys playing hockey and lacrosse in his spare time.
